Matters in Turkey
Many clients have a legal matter on both sides of the Atlantic: an estate or a judgment in Turkey, a company with a presence in each country, a record that follows them abroad. We work with colleagues who are qualified in Turkey, and we say plainly who may practice which law.
Our colleagues licensed in Turkey handle the Turkish-law side. Matters requiring U.S. licensure are handled by Merit Law LLP's U.S.-licensed attorneys.
How a matter begins
- Contact us. Call, WhatsApp, the form or a booking. Tell us your language and topic.
- Speak with the firm. We tell you which attorney would handle it and where they are licensed.
- Written agreement. If you go ahead, the terms are set in writing. Until then, there is no attorney-client relationship.
